Housing and Meals

Hosting Families: 
* are responsible for providing a shared or private room as stated in the contract with sufficient closet or drawer space and access to onsite laundry.  Student will have a desk for studying.  

 
* will provide 2-3 meals per day for the students depending on his or her individual contract.

*Due to differing morning schedules, we recommend a self-serve breakfast;however, dinner will be served family-style as much as possible.

* will occasionally have meetings to discuss the daily activities.

*  will make sure that students will be surrounded by English in the household; there will occasionally be an interpreter from their country.

* will provide a household that is equipped with a carbon monoxide detector, fire alarm, and a first aid kit. There is no smoking in the household.

 

*Families are fully responsible for the safety of the students.  

 

Transportation 

* Families are responsible for students getting safely to and from school

* Occasional school activities and meetings

 Separate expenses for student:  
* Transportation to outside events, summer camp ,  piano lessons, extra curriculum activities (if interested see your local coordinator)

PRICING FOR FAMILIES:

 SHORT TERM $610 per month for hosting families (private furnished 2 meals-includes onsite laundry-transportation included 

 SHORT TERM $525 per month for hosting families (shared furnished- onsite laundry-no meals or transportation )

 SCHOOL TERM $1200 per month for hosting families (long term-attending school-includes all of the above)

 SCHOOL TERM $1500 per month for hosting families providing insurance  (long term-attending school-includes all of the above)

Transportation to and from airport  $40 flat free
